About Katrina Eugenia
Born and raised a Jersey girl, Katrina Eugenia is an artist of many talents including photography, painting, drawing, filmmaking, and all types of writing. Known for being quiet the fashionista Katrina also has a passion for styling, and fashion design as she finds it very inspiring and holds a high respect for those in the industry.Well known for her photography Katrina enjoys taking that which is real and making it slightly surreal in an attempt to leave the viewer in aw. When speaking of her work Katrina says, "When you take that in which one can relate to and add an unreal element you cause an impact that stimulates the viewer. This is what I find rewarding."
Now residing in New York City, Katrina Eugenia is attending Pratt institute while building a career independently doing what she loves; art. Currently Katrina Eugenia is interning for world-renowned photographer Bruce Weber where she has the opportunity to learn from who she says, "are the most skilled and intellectual people she has ever worked with."
In her free time she enjoys taking long runs, yoga, dancing, song writing, singing, and most of all, spending time with her friends and family. Katrina quotes, " I've been blessed with many gifts my life but that which is most valuable to me are my friends and family who are unconditional, loyal, supporting, and loving. In fact I have never met anyone who has the same valuable friendships with their peers as I do with mine. I'm very lucky."
Among Katrina's large agenda of art projects in the making is her coffee table book entitled, " Love is cheaper than Gas" The Book will entail a large series of photographs and poetry that pertain to the idea of education and exploration of our everyday environment with out spending money or having to travel far distances to enjoy new experiences and satisfaction.
